At the March 2018 meeting, Boulder Campus Staff Council (BCSC) endorsed the Paid Parental Leave White Paper submitted by University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Staff Council (UCSC). University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Staff Council, comprised of representatives from the staff councils on each of the four ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ campuses, formed a working group to address the needs expressed by ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ staff regarding paid parental leave.
Boulder Campus Staff Council submitted a white paper on employee tuition benefits to the Provost’s Academic Futures Committee in January 2018. Staff Council’s plan lists specific ways to improve the current policy in order to overcome barriers and inconsistencies that keep staff members from taking advantage of the benefit.
