The Anderson Language and Technology Center (ALTEC) is pleased to announce that registration is open for fall 2018 language classes, including multiple levels of French, Italian, and Spanish. Learn more on the ALTEC language classes website: altec.colorado.edu/languageclasses.

ALTEC language classes are non-credit and for enrichment only. Classes run for ten weeks beginning on September 10 and meet once a week for two hours. Staff members can register for these classes at a discounted rate of $100 per class. Payments can be made by credit card, cash or check. Interdepartmental invoices are also accepted, should a department wish to sponsor tuition. Students have access to a large collection of foreign language materials at the ALTEC Multimedia Library, located in Hellems 159.

ALTEC also offers Directed Independent Language Study (DILS) courses in Danish, Indonesian, Swedish, Thai and Tibetan. The DILS program boasts small class sizes with more individualized attention from the instructor. Staff can use their tuition benefit to register online in MyÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥Info for the 3-credit Danish, Indonesian and Swedish courses. Staff may take the non-credit Thai and Tibetan classes for free by emailing altec@colorado.edu.
