Lynn Snyder

Dr. Snyder was a former Director of the Center for Language and Learning (CLL) and oversaw the administration of the Center and its Modified Foreign Language (MFL) Program for college students with foreign language learning problems. Dr. Snyder also conducted research on the development of computer-based reading assessments for preschool and school age students and reading intervention programs for school age and adolescent students. Her research was conducted in collaboration with colleagues from ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s Institute of Cognitive Science and is supported by grants from the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute for Education Science (IES) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Dr. Snyder was a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the International Academy for Research on Learning Disabilities.

Before Dr. Snyder's work at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, she was faculty in the Speech Pathology Dept. at Denver University. Her research and publications were seminal to the field of Speech Language Pathology.
