Holly Kleiber, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIST is a Clinical Assistant Professor who specializes in acquired adult neurogenic cognitive-linguistic disorders.Ìý She supervises students in the assessment and treatment of adults with swallowing, language, motor speech, and cognitive impairments. Holly teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She conducts clinical research in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic (SLHC) and is involved in research projects with Dr. Allison Hilger.ÌýHolly has collaborated with the Department of Theatre & Dance to create opportunities for individuals with communication disorders to participate in theatre productions. Holly is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Student to Empowered Professional (ASHA S.T.E.P.) Mentoring Program and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIST). Prior to joining the faculty at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder, Holly worked for nearly a decade in several health care settings, with a primary focus in acute care and hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation.ÌýShe earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree from the University of Washington in the medical speech-language pathology program.
