Research Interests

Dr. Zagona leads a multi-disciplinary team at CADSWES in the research and development of RiverWare and other decision support tools. She directs research projects in the areas of sustainable water resources planning and management under uncertainty, simulation and optimization modeling of hydrologic and hydraulic systems, multi-objective reservoir operations, reliability of environmental flows, operational issues in the water energy nexus, and adaptation to hydrologic variability and change.

She provides expertise to federal research programs and to river system managers in planning studies in the US and abroad.
