Project Description
The NIST Quantum Sensors Group (QSG) develops specialized sensors for electromagnetic radiation and/or particles, as well as readout circuitry for the same sensors. Key goals of this applied research are to realize more sensitive and larger format sensor and readout circuits in support of multiple NIST programs. The QSG is actively pursuing more capable circuit designs, higher yield microfabrication processes, and new microfabrication processes that enable circuits with new capabilities.
