Project Description
THe researcher is developing single-photon cameras operating in the mid-infrared spectrum for future NASA missions involving exoplanet spectroscopy. The objective of the project is to develop micro and nanofabrication techniques integrating superconducting devices such as superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPDs) and Josephson junctions (JJs) with semiconductor CMOS technologies to read out small arrays of SNSPDs.
