Congratulations to Erkan Gunes, winner of the Graduate Part-Time Instructor Award!
This award is granted in recognition of how Erkan has risen to the challenges presented by teaching during the pandemic. His online offerings through Continuing Education this semester of PSCI 3062 – Revolution and Political Violence and PSCI 4012 – Global Development, represent the best of remote teaching. Not only is Erkan engaging in best practices for content delivery, student assessment, and active learning strategies, his student goals include the development of subject expertise as well as strengthened critical thinking and research skills.
Erkan truly goes above and beyond to make his classes informative, analytical, and practical; a unique combination of admirable characteristics not often found in a single class.
