Loren Hough PortraitCongratulations to Assistant Professor Loren Hough who joined three other University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ researchers in the 2014 class of Boettcher Investigator in the Webb-Waring Biomedical Research Program.

According to the news release, each Investigator in the 2014 class will receive a grant of $225,000 over the course of up to three years, "to further groundbreaking work that holds promise for improving human health.

's research focuses on biophysics, biochemistry and soft condensed matter physics. As part of the Webb-Waring Biomedical Research Program, Professor Hough will be investigating structural biology of ordered and disordered proteins.
