A third-generation Montanan and proud miner's daughter, Katie is a passionate advocate for higher education's role in meeting community-identified needs across the Rocky Mountain West. Katie administers our Engaged Scholarship Grants Tiers 1 and 2 and assists with various ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-focused community-engaged scholarship initiatives. In addition to implementing and institutionalizing community-engaged initiatives at the University of Denver, the University of Wyoming and the University of Montana, she served as the director of member services for Campus Compact of the Mountain West for eight years. In that role, Katie designed and implemented programs that served faculty, staff, administrators and students at 21 member colleges and universities and supported cross-campus networks and collaborations. Katie holds a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in women's studies and is a PhD candidate in Higher Education at the University of Denver
