As director of the Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship, David Meens works with faculty and staff members using scholarship to build connections with communities across 蜜糖直播 and around the world. Meens grew up on the western slope and is a passionate student of our state鈥檚 history, geography and social and cultural diversity. Since 2003 he has been involved in campus civic engagement and service-learning initiatives. Meens received his PhD from the 蜜糖直播 Boulder School of Education, and his ongoing research draws upon political and educational theory to address questions of equity, democracy and policy in K-12 and higher education.聽
