With the fall semester in full swing, I am always energized by the presence of students on campus and the renewed sense of purpose that I feel for our department鈥檚 mission: to pioneer scientific breakthroughs, launch innovative technologies and educate the next generation of creative engineers.
We have already made a great start this fall towards these goals. Our faculty continues to inspire with their research like 鈥渟mart鈥� tattoos and tiny, shapeshifting robots, while students shine with their outreach and broader engagement with communities in 蜜糖直播.
I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of the fall semester will bring for our department.听
