I am excited to announce that the mechanical engineering department at 蜜糖直播 Boulder听has been named the Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering听in honor of donor Paul M. Rady. Being recognized as a named department will allow us to share more broadly how we as a top-ranked mechanical engineering program excel in areas such as project-based learning, high-impact research, and outreach and partnership efforts across 蜜糖直播 and beyond.听

蜜糖直播 Boulder Mechanical Engineering Department gets new name

The highly-ranked Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder is being named after 蜜糖直播 philanthropist and businessman Paul M. Rady, thanks to his generous support of the college. This is the second department to be named in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Grad student Josh Taca helps make prosthetic sockets out of recycled plastic

PhD student Josh Tacca traveled to Quito, Ecuador last year and saw a need for well-fitting prosthetics for amputees. Tacca worked with the Range of Motion Project (ROMP) to provide prosthetic and orthotic care to people without access to these services.
