  • (She|Her|Ella)
  • Coordinator for Cultural Programs

I started at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ in October of 2021 and serve as the Coordinator for Cultural Programs. My role in CSI involves the planning, implementation and oversight of all cultural programs and events through the Dennis Small Cultural Center (DSCC) located on the 4th floor of the UMC. I also oversee activism, community organizing and heritage month programs. I serve as the Advisor for the Cultural Events Board and the CSI liaison for all Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) in the Cultural and International categories. Some strengths I bring to CSI are that I am passionate, driven and organized. I obtained my undergraduate degree from ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder as a first-generation student in Ethnic Studies and Secondary Education with an emphasis in Multicultural Learning. I completed my Master's at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ in the Educational Foundations, Policy and Practice Program.

I am a first-generation college graduate, a proud product of immigrants and born and raised in Commerce City, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, with my family and ancestors coming from Mexico. As a woman of color, I am passionate about making a difference and helping provide students with a meaningful and inclusive experience at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. When I am not at work, I like to travel, DJ, be outside and spend time with my friends, family and my dog, Luna. My favorite place on campus is the Weathertech Cafe. If I were a superhero, my superpower would be to teleport.
