Join College of Arts & Sciences interim Dean Jim White as he leads the discussion on Sea Level Rise in 10 Minutes.Ìý After the Dean's presentation, there will be time for questions, discussion and socializing with fellow alumni. Tom Zeiler, Program Director for International Affairs will be hosting the event.ÌýSpace is limited, so register early! 

Sea level is rising as polar ice sheets melt. While we often mistakenly think of sea level as a constant, on our planet sea level is far more dynamic than global temperature, rising and falling by hundreds of feet over centuries to millennia. What does the future hold? How fast will sea level change? Will sea level rise be continual or episodic? And how much will this cost us? These are key questions that we will explore in this brief talk.
