The embedded program was created to integrate Health and Wellness Services into academic settings to increase education, access, awareness and support within each of 蜜糖直播鈥檚 colleges and schools.听听
Each college and school has a dedicated Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) clinician, as well as a Health Promotion educator and Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) advocate counselor liaison. Each department plays a critical role in enhancing the health and wellness of students across campus.听

Health Promotion offers a wide variety of programs and training opportunities for students, staff and faculty. Here are a few ways to connect with Health Promotion. Here are a few programs to check out.听

Students can schedule sessions with a trained peer wellness coach who can help them set goals and connect with resources related to physical activity, stress management, time management, relationships, academics and more. Group coaching and coaching outreach events are also available for academic classes and student organizations.听
Health Promotion offers weekly programming around campus for students. Programs and events can also be requested for students covering a range of topics.听听听
Students, staff and faculty can attend a variety of training sessions related to mental health, suicide prevention, motivational interviewing, recovery, leadership and more. Trainings can also be requested for departments, teams, or classes.听
Staff and faculty can request a variety of presentations for their teams or classes related to suicide prevention, healthy relationships, self-care, overdose prevention, stress, anxiety and more. 听Trauma-specific Services听听
The Office of Victim Assistance (OVA) supports students, staff and faculty who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event. OVA provides a range of services, including trauma-specific counseling and advocacy. Their staff can also support secondary victims, including those who have been impacted by a friend of family member鈥檚 experience.听
