From the Dean: Navigating the trauma of the past two weeks

Dear graduate students,

This has been an extraordinarily difficult last two weeks for the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ and Boulder communities. We recognize the strain that these events put on everyone, whether directly affected by the lockdowns or not, and I want to let everyone in our graduate community know that all of us within the Graduate School are here to assist in any way possible.

As the chancellor mentioned last week, the safety, security and well-being of everyone at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder is this university’s top priority, and we encourage you to make time for yourself so that you can stay safe and healthy. If you are struggling, I recommend checking out the comprehensive list of resources made available through the university. Other support services are also available through Counseling and Psychiatric Services.

We know incidents like this can cause a wide range of reactions. If there is anything we can do to help during this time, do not hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely,

E. Scott Adler
Dean of the Graduate School
Vice Provost for Graduate Affairs
Professor of Political Science
