Since 1982 The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Mountain Club Foundation has awarded fellowships for research that parallel the Statement of Purpose adopted by the founders of The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Mountain Club in 1912. The Foundation solicits applications from students enrolled in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ colleges and universities, and awards grants ranging from approximately $600 to $2,000, in disciplines such as biology, chemistry, ecology, forestry, geography, geology, history, and law. Although fellowships are normally awarded to graduate students, undergraduates are also eligible.
