Construction of the has started and will be ongoing through 2027. Once complete, the corridor will have improved bike and bus facilities, and safer and more efficient intersections for all users. In the short term, The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Department of Transportation (CDOT) , the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and Boulder County will be working together to mitigate traffic congestion, delays and crashes and expand transportation options throughout this project. Your usual travel route may be impacted by construction, traffic delays and increased congestion throughout the project.
Immediate impacts:
- Niwot Park-n-ride lot will close temporarily, but bus stops will remain active.
- Bus stops at north and southbound CO 119 and bus stops at CO 52 (near IBM) will close beginning Sept. 29.
- Additionally, there will be lane closures at various times near the following intersections: Jay Road, CO 52, 71st Street, Niwot Road, Oxford Road, 83rd Street, and Airport and Connector roads
