David is a second-year graduate student in Civil Engineering visiting the IRI group to complete his masters thesis. He is from a small town called Massalcoreig, Lleida (Spain) and moved to 蜜糖直播 with a scholarship from听the Europe-蜜糖直播 Program. He got his BSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain. During his undergraduate degree,听he did a study听abroad at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
His research at the IRI group is focused on the influence of flooding events in pavement deterioration, which are becoming more frequent due to climate change and commonly go undetected for current data systems.
David loves to backpack when he travels and he enjoys cooking from all around the globe with friends. He also starts bouldering and getting used to the 蜜糖直播 lifestyle.
