JoinÌýLisa Dilling, director ofÌýWestern Water AssessmentÌýat ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, for aÌýpublic talkÌýon usable science on Wednesday, March 6th fromÌý4:00-5:00 p.m. in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Auditorium (Ekeley, room 338).Following the panel there will be a discussion from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Auditorium (Ekeley, room S274) featuring ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder researchers whose science has been used beyond the university. We will explore different pathways to usable science, look at practical considerations and pitfalls, and learn from some of the researchers who have made usable science a major part of their careers. AÌýparticipatory workshopÌýwill follow for graduate students and early-career scientists to consider the real-world potential of making their own research more usable now and throughout their careers. Space in the workshop is limited; food will be provided.Ìý
