Throughout our state, History ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ offers eleven beautiful, inspiring museums and historic sites that ignite imaginations of all ages. What You’ll Do:

Broad Scope of Position: 
The Marketing and Communications team is looking for an intern to assist in building a complete marketing and communications campaign, from concepting and goal-setting to production, deployment, and analysis. During this internship, the intern will acquire hands-on experience with widely used content management systems and marketing software, including Drupal (website platform), Emma (email), Sprout Social (social media), Basecamp (project management), Canva/Adobe Creative Suite/CapCut (graphic design and video editing), and more. The intern will have the opportunity to build fundamental knowledge of creating accessible content, become embedded in the marketing production process, build a portfolio of tangible marketing collateral demonstrating transferable skills, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. 

The internship will include experiences in: 

  • Design support (40%), 
  • Organic social media development (30%) 
  • Client management and interfacing (20%)
  • PR/Communications (10%) 

Outcomes: 
By the completion of this experience, the intern will have gained skills in workflow management, multi-channel marketing campaign building, client interface, relationship building and maintenance, graphic design, and content management.

Desired Skills & Academic Field of Study: 
Current or recent students in Marketing, Communications/Journalism/Public Relations, Graphic Design/Art, History, or related degree program. 

  • Independent worker that is at ease asking for directional clarity 
  • Works well with others and collaborative 
  • Interest in arts, culture, history, and/or nonprofits 
  • Computer skills including Microsoft or Google Suite
  • Ability to use or learn to use Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

The stipend is not salary or compensation. The stipend is meant to support study and research during the tenure of the appointment and will be issued upon completion of the internship.

ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Women’s Art Museum Building Development Internship 

Who We Are:

The ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Women’s Art Museum () is a non-profit organization with the mission to elevate, encourage and exhibit ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Women Visual Artists. The membership of the Museum is currently undertaking a fundraising campaign to establish a building dedicated to promoting, exhibiting and collecting ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Women’s Art.

They are seeking an ENVD intern to assist with conceptualizing the design of the building to support the Museum’s fundraising efforts.

 

What You’ll Do:

Internship tasks

  • With oversight from an ENVD faculty member, the intern will produce conceptual drawings for the planned spaces. These include exhibition space/s, curatorial exhibition preparatory lab, classroom and meeting space, temporary and permanent art storage, sculptural park, catering and offices. Future off-site storage space may also be employed to house what will be a growing collection.
  • In collaboration with the Museum’s Board of Directors, the intern will create storyboards to showcase the mood of the museum and its interior materiality.
  • The intern will employ LEED certification and biophilic design principles in the final design drawings, maquettes and 3D architectural renderings (as informed by the ENVD faculty member and Museum members.
  • We expected the intern to visit area museums and interview staff of those museums to gather important information on building usage, and wish lists of curatorial staff, visitors and board members. These will be group visits scheduled with CWAM board members.
  • The intern will work with a talented group of art professionals and gain experience in art exhibitions as well as the business side of the art industry.

As we are a non-profit organization, we are offering the internship as an unpaid, voluntary opportunity. However academic credit is available via ENVD’s Internship for Credit Program.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with a 3-modeling program (i.e., REVIT, RHINO, SketchUp)
  • Ability to produce attractive renderings
  • An interest in art and museums is not required but a major plus

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of branding principles and visual communication.

Satellite Boardshop (Boulder) – Product & Skate Park Design/Building Internships

 

Who We Are:

Satellite Boardshop is a collective community of and enthusiasts that share a passion for the related culture and lifestyle.  The storefront has been open and thriving , ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ since 2002.  The idea to consolidate skateboarding and snowboarding lifestyles and products was forged by JG Mazzotta and Raul Pinto.  The two possess a healthy passion for both mediums of expression and skateboard and snowboard year-round.  Dedicated for life, Satellite Boardshop is your core skateboard and snowboard shop. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Internship Opportunities: 

  • Student intern with experience in small-scale construction to work on the Green Block Skate Park in Boulder. The student will assist with some of the building work at the site.
  • Student intern to assist with promoting the Forever Skates and Skateboard Recycling Program. The intern will need to have design skills with RHINO, AutoCAD, and experience using a CNC.
  • Interior Design intern to work on a project with Satellite Board Shop in Boulder.

Our Denver Office is seeking Transportation Planning and Policy Interns for Summer 2025.

This opportunity involves working in close coordination with project managers, assisting in basic research, writing, and technical assignments, and collaborating with peers and technical professionals to advance transportation planning tasks.
