Interim director appointed for Western partnership program
This past spring, it was announced that Associate Teaching Professor Jeni Blacklock would be stepping down from her position as ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ director and Western ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ University dean of the WÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Engineering Partnership Program. After serving exceptionally well, Jeni’s last day in that role was June 30.
Today, I am excited to share that Teaching Assistant Professor Kevin Terry has accepted the invitation to serve as the interim director for the partnership program at WÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. Kevin resides in Gunnison and is a faculty member at Western’s Paul M. Rady School of Computer Science & Engineering.
Kevin’s professional and academic experiences span the fields of aerospace, mechanical and biomedical engineering. I am confident that his success in academia, as well as the public and private sectors, will enable him to build upon the accomplishments of his predecessor and be effective at establishing important industry relationships.
Please join me in congratulating Kevin on this appointment, where he will continue to enrich the lives of our students.
