Emilie was nominated due to her essential work in creating accessible data visualizations. She went above and beyond with developing a new way to address data visualizations and making that option available to others. She led this initiative, consulted with the DAO Assessment and Usability team, and others at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. She has continued to extend her efforts on this project to Drupal to enhance awareness and create open source options for people to learn about how to create accessible data visualizations.
