The DAO hosted a comprehensive virtual informational session to provide clarity on the implications of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ House Bill and what that means for the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. Karen Pellegrin, the Senior Program Manager of the Technology Accessibility Program at the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ State Office of Information Technology (OIT) explained what HB21-1110 is about, along with resources to fulfill these requirements. Michelle Krech, the Senior Associate University Counsel, Special Assistant Attorney General of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Office of University Counsel, explained how this House Bill relates to existing ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder standards and legal obligations. Lastly, Kosta Tovstiadi and Mike Williamson, the Director and Assistant Director of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder Digital Accessibility Office (DAO), discussed what you, as a ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder community member, can do to fulfill the requirements of HB21-1110 and how the DAO can support you along the way.
