Judith Halasi completed a BA in History and an MA in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥. Her professional experience in archaeology includes archaeological fieldwork in survey, testing, and excavation. She has more than thirty years of full-time archeological experience including field schools, working for the universities, at a federal agency, and for various private contracting companies, working for the as a survey and site file archaeologist, and doing private CRM contracting. The fieldwork includes projects primarily in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, including the Southwest, the Mountains, the Northwest and the Plains; she has also worked in Kansas, New Mexico, and England. The field work experience includes prehistoric archaeology, plus more than six years of historic sites archaeology, recording historic sites, and doing historic document research and artifact analysis. Additional experience includes archival research (including a project for the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Museum), and professional editing.
