I retired from ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ eight years ago after almost forty years on the staff of the Publications (later renamed "Strategic Communications") department as a graphic designer. My service on the museum board began in 2006 or so as one of the organizers of a benefit silent auction (Rugs, Bugs, and Bones) and I'm still engaged with museum support. I am interested in material artifacts and what they can tell us about past cultures. Primarily I work with pottery, recently with Scott Ortman in the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Archaeology lab analyzing sherds from several locations in the Southwest. I also am interested in textiles, from the Southwest and further afield.
