Several staff and faculty from ֱ Engage presented about "hot topics" in education at the Fall 2018 Ed Talks, which took place at the on Wednesday, November 7 at 7pm.

Ben Kirshner, Professor of Education and Faculty Director for ֱ Engage presented: "When Did Adolescence Become an Epithet?"

Magnolia Landa-Posas,Aquetza Summer Program Co-Director & Just Transition Collaborative Community Engagement Manager presented: "In Lak'ech: You Are My Other Me."

Enihs Medrano, Centaurus High School Senior,Public Achievement Coach,with support from Charla Agnoletti, Program Director for Public Achievement presented: "Finding Our Collective Power as Students of Color Who Refuse to Conform."

Manuela Sifuentes,ֱ Engage Director of Community Partnerships presented: "Moving Beyond Just “Welcoming” Spanish-Speaking Families."
