The campus has hosted an ongoing discussion on gun rights following a ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Supreme Court ruling last spring that held that ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ regents cannot set gun policies contrary to the state’s 2003 concealed-carry law.
ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ has no authority to prevent people from carrying concealed weapons on campus, according to an April ruling by the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Court of Appeals, which set off a campus debate regarding guns.
