Jeannie Thompson has had a varied career in the biological sciences (virology/epidemiology), graduate school admissions, mediation—and in mentoring and executive development services. She spent much of her career in the Chicago area, having returned to ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, with husband Jack, more than 20 years ago. She received her UG degree at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder and two graduate degrees at Northwestern University. The couple met at The Sink their freshman year. She is on several boards on campus, is very active with the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Foundation, and has served on numerous search teams for senior campus administrators. Jeannie and Jack have a son and two grandchildren, also in Boulder. She enjoys tennis, water aerobics, and hiking—as well as connecting (and enjoying) people.
