The first three readers to respond with correct species identifications for all seven will receive a copy of Peterson’s Field Guide to Bird Sounds of Western North America (forthcoming in April), by Nathan Pieplow, a former editor of the journal ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Birds, who teaches writing and rhetoric at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.
