ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ head football coach Mike MacIntyre is the . He received the honor on Dec. 15, along with the FWAA/Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year award by the Football Writers Association of America.Ìý
In early December, MacIntyreÌýwas named theÌý, college football'sÌýtop coaching award,Ìýand received theÌýPac-12 Coach of the Year designation at the end of the regular season.Ìý
At the start of the 2016 season, the Buffs were expected to finish last in the Pac-12. Instead, they finished 8-1 in the conference — reversing their 2015 performance of 1-8Ìý—Ìýand won the South Division. The team fell to the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 Championship Game Dec. 2.Ìý
This is MacIntyre’s fourth season as ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s head coach. He will lead the Buffs —Ìýranked No. 11 in the country —Ìýin their first bowl game appearance in a decade versus No. 13 Oklahoma State atÌýthe Ìýin San Antonio, Texas, Dec. 29.Ìý
