The women’s basketball team, picked to finish last in the Big 12 Conference by the league’s coaches, saw its season end in the quarterfinals of the Women’s NIT where the Buffs lost 87-70 to future Pac-12 foe Southern California. The Buffs finished with an 18-16 record under first-year coach Linda Lappe&²Ô²ú²õ±è;(²Ñ°ì³Ù²µâ€™02).
