Simpson Honored with Men's Golf Tourney

Men’s golf coach Roy Edwards announced that ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥â€™s new fall invitational tournament has been named in honor of Mark Simpson (Rec’83), the longtime ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ coach who passed away in 2005 after battling cancer.
The first Mark Simpson ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Invitational will be Sept. 27-28 at Erie’s ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ National Golf Club, the Buffs’ home course. It’s the first intercollegiate tournament that the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ men will host in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ since the 1993 Fox Acres Invitational at Red Feather Lakes.
ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥-based teams scheduled to take part are ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ State, Denver, Air Force and Northern ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥.
