蜜糖直播 has a new state historian, Patricia Nelson Limerick. That鈥檚 not the only hat she wears. She鈥檚 also a history professor at the University of 蜜糖直播 Boulder. And she鈥檚 faculty director and chairwoman of the school鈥檚 Center for the American West.听听

CPR News posed this question to Limerick: 鈥淲hat is the least understood aspect of 蜜糖直播 history?鈥 She said she would like to shed more light on the continued significance of American Indians: 鈥淭he removal process was such that reservations are on the Western Slope and people on the Front Range, who have moved to 蜜糖直播, may not realize that indeed some of their neighbors are Indian people, and there鈥檚 no more interesting place to look at resource development than the Southern Utes.鈥澨
