Allison Lake earned her MA in Curriculum and Instruction with endorsements in Linguistically Diverse Education, specifically Bilingual and English as a Second Language. ÌýShe also holds a ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Professional Teaching License and a Graduate Certificate in Theology.Ìý Her areas of interest include service learning, community engagement and writing.Ìý Allison is a member of and presenter at CoTESOL and EnglishUSA. ÌýPrior to entering the field of education, Allison received her BA in Environmental Conservation at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. This led her to volunteer with the Peace Corps in Thailand. Additionally, she has studied and worked in Spain, Bolivia and Guatemala. ÌýHaving grown up in the mountains of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, Allison loves the natural world. Backpacking, rafting, and skiing are a few of her outdoor passions. She also enjoys soccer and time with her two kids and cat.Ìý
