°Õ³ó±ðÌýCenter for Critical ThoughtÌýbrings together humanists and social scientists from across the University, working in the field of Critical Thought, understood generally to mean German critical theory, French social theory, postmodern and postcolonial theories of identity, cultural studies, and global visions for renewed egalitarianism. With its deep legacy in the humanities, the Center encourages and sustains a critical reexamination of our present situation, in its political, economic, social, and legal dimensions. In the intersecting registers of sexism, racism, xenophobia, climate change, and more, the purpose of the Center is to inspire ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ students and scholars toward the elaboration of a critical practice of social transformation.
