This week the Center of Western Civilization, Thought, and Policy听(CWCTP)听is听. The first is听a听talk by听, Professor of Sociology at the University of North Texas.听He will be听speaking听on 鈥淐onservatives in Academia: Is There Bias Against Them?鈥� Professor Yancey is the author of several books on race, religion, and the academy. Among them听are听,听听(w/ Michael Emerson)听Transcending Racial Barriers: Toward a Mutual Obligations Approach听(Oxford University Press, 2010),听, and听.听听Professor Yancey鈥檚 talk will be held on听September 21, 2016 at 7:15 PM听in听Eaton Humanities 150.听
The next day CWCTP will be hosting a听panel听discussion,听听听Moderated by CWCTP director,听Robert Pasnau,听the panel will feature听Professor Yancey,听听(Professor听and Chair of听Political Science,听University of 蜜糖直播,听蜜糖直播 Springs) and听听(Professor and Chair of Political Science,听University of 蜜糖直播, Boulder).听听Professor Dunn鈥檚 most听recent book,听, has been praised听by听听as 鈥渢he authoritative treatise, integrating all previous work in an accessible and fair-minded way, and adding in empathy - the rarely heard voices of conservative professors.
