Room 102, ENVD Bldg. 5:15-6:15pm. Danica Powell BIO – Founder/Owner Trestle Strategy Group. Danica is the founder and owner of Trestle Strategy Group, a community builder and consulting firm specializing in providing custom, strategic, and collaborative consulting and management for large scale planning and development projects. The firm oversees real estate development and construction projects from concept to completion, delivering impeccable project management, intelligentP strategy, and smart solutions. Working as a consultant to private developers, nonprofits, and governmental agencies, Danica has a proven track record for directing and managing complex projects and developing and implementing innovative community engagement programs to support complex planning and development projects.  Recent work in the Boulder community includes extensive engagement and outreach for Lyons Affordable Housing Recovery, resilience planning for Ponderosa Mobile Home Park, and Visioning for the Alpine-Balsam Project for the City of Boulder.  She has been working with leaders of BoCo Strong to create tactical and effective community outreach solutions and asset mapping to build resiliency within each of their communities.  In addition, Danica supports private developers in urban planning, entitlements and community engagement to build stakeholder support, reduce risk and create plans that are supported by leaders, neighbors and the community. Danica is an active member of ULI, and was a founding Chair of Boulder ULI and currently serves on the Women’s Leadership Initiative Steering Committee.  She is a member of the Boulder Urban Renewal Authority and recently served a 3-­year term with the City of Boulder Planning Board.  She is also a board member of the I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County.  Her degree is in Sustainable Urban Systems from The University of California at Berkeley.
