Professional Biography

Li Li Peters was educated in China and the United States with a B.A. in English and a M.A. in Comparative Literature in China. She came to study the United States in the early 1990s and received her second M.A. in Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ at Boulder and her doctoral degree in Asian Studies from UCLA in 2007. She has taught a wide-range of courses in various educational institutions both in China and in the United Stats, and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Languages and Literatures, and a joint faculty in Asian Studies. She also serves as the coordinator of Chinese program and the Director of Asian Studies.
