On Monday, June 10th, Danielle Rocheleau Salaz, the Assistant Director of the Center for Asian Studies, departed on the inaugural United Airlines’ 787 Dreamliner flight direct from Denver to Tokyo. She is currently taking part in a 70-person delegation to Tokyo that includes ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ business, tourism, and government officials, as well as experts in energy development, officials from colleges and universities, and a group of high school drummers who will perform with traditional Taiko drummers.

During their time in Tokyo, the delegation will, among other things, highlight higher education opportunities in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ for Japanese students by meeting with StudyÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ organizations, government officials, and Japanese media.
