ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥

Tzigane is a career advisor working with students from the College of Media, Communication and Information and the College of Music, and students pursuing the Business Minor at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and safe space where students feel free to explore their future horizons. Tzigane was born and raised in Aurora, ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, and is the proud daughter of an immigrant family from Veracruz, Mexico. She received her BA in international affairs and environmental studies from the University of ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Boulder in 2020.

While at ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, she pursued different communications internships in the environmental space. She interned at The Nature Conservancy, Sustainable ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥i-Palestinian Projects and the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Water Trust. She is also an alum of the ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ Public Interest Internship Experience (PIIE) program.

After graduation, Tzigane began work as the lead communications coordinator at Movimiento Poder, a Denver-based nonprofit organization, dedicated to serving Latinx students and parents in Denver. Her passion for career development and working with students led to her role as a career advisor today. In her free time, Tzigane enjoys being outdoors, traveling and learning new recipes from different parts of the world.
