INbalance | IMbalance
An aerial work production exposing the performer's inner world by Anna Pillot
"INbalance | IMbalance" is endurance-based movement research that explores possibilities to change or be changed in the reciprocal relationship of the external and the internal. Technology that externalizes internal happenings of the body is applied to aerial apparatus work, contemporary dance, and running to give the audience a window into these relationships. This research is being done in collaboration with Caroline Butcher, MFA Candidate in Dance, Brad Gallagher, PhD student in Intermedia Art, Writing, and Performance, and Ruthie Scarpino; and is made possible by the Arts and Cultural Enrichment Grant, Graduate Research in Dance Fund, and MFA Excellence in Research Micro Grant.
This work was made possible through the B2 Creative Residency Program. Learn more here.
