My name is Lily and I love plasmas. Especially the weird ones, such as the collisionless solar wind and solar corona, where energy exchange processes between the waves and particles they contain are not yet fully understood. I hope to contribute to the solution of this problem through theory, modeling and simulation, guided by my advisor Steve Cranmer. In my (limited) free time I’m usually chilling with my husband and our pets while watching captivating sci-fi shows or reading books of various genres.
