Anthropology Clubs Visits the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings

ÌýExploring the Past: Anthropology Club's Adventure to Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings Museum! The Manitou Cliff Dwellings, originally situated near McElmo Canyon in southwest ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥, consisting of 40 rooms, were relocated between 1904 and 1907 to their current location. The move aimed to safeguard the Ancestral Puebloan architecture from looters and relic pot-hunters, ultimately opening the preserved site as a museum to the public in 1907.
