James Paradis is the Key Communications and Advancement Proposal Specialist for the Leeds Advancement team, supporting strategic fundraising initiatives and major gift proposals. James began his career at the University of Virginia in 2011, developing student and career programming at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Prior to joining the Leeds School, he worked as a policy consultant at the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, advocating for greater access, affordability, and quality of higher education for state students and families. James earned his Master's degree in Education Policy at the George Washington University and a BA in Psychology and Music from the University of Virginia. He is an alum of the Americorps City Year program in Washington, DC and has a lifelong passion for philanthropy. He lives in Longmont with his wife, Paige, their triplet sons Ollie, Finn, and Tuck, and their oldest son, Mason.
